HAF Year End Event: The Power of Law

Date: Thursday, December 2 | Time: 8:00 - 9:30 pm ET | Online, anywhere

Our country’s legal system can be a powerful tool in the face of defamation, Hinduphobia, and religious liberty violations. But you have to know how to use it smartly. On December 2, join us for an engaging discussion with our in-house legal team, Suhag Shukla, Esq. and Samir Kalra, Esq., about the legal tools we as Americans have on hand to protect ourselves.

We promise, this will NOT be boring lawyer talk.

We’ll be talking about not only what we can do in the face of Hinduphobia, but what we cannot do. We can’t just sue folks because they say malicious things about Hindus or Hinduism. So when do we have grounds for legal action? We’ll discuss the legal merits of our defamation case, our legal action against UPenn in the aftermath of the DGH conference, and more…

Registration is required.

WE WILL RESERVE TIME FOR Q&A AT THE END. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR QUESTIONS IN ADVANCE WHEN REGISTERING.

Suhag Shukla, Esq.
