Hinduism 101 Training

This training explains challenging topics in the classroom. With an emphasis on Hinduism, concepts such as karma, dharma, and moksha, the disputed origins of ancient Indian civilizations; and the development of what is now referred to as the caste system will be discussed. The goal of this workshop is to provide attendees with the confidence and clarity to discuss this world religion.

Cultural Proficiency Training

In this training,  participants learn about various approaches to cultural proficiency and effective strategies to create communities of inclusion that promote educational equity and access . This interactive training utilizes multimedia tools to provide clarity on concepts related to Hinduism as well as cultural proficient pedagogy and as provide attendees with activities that can be used in their respective workplace.

Textbook Review Assistance

HAF has collaborated and assisted with several national textbook publishing companies to provide thorough reviews on existing K-16 textbook content and to provide expertise on different areas of Hinduism. There are several subject matter experts on staff as well as an Academic Advisory Council that can provide additional advice.
